This website was first conceived on January 12th, 2025. Originally, I planned on using Hugo to learn Go and build my website. Unclear documentation got in the way and lack of Go led me to switching static site generators.

Luckily I stumbled onto Zola after running into others who shared a similar frustration with the docs, especially with regard to going theme-less.

This site uses custom fonts both as an opportunity to explore the world of typography and build up my design sensibilities. I want to make this site truly my own and not cookie cutter.

I've opted to use tailwindcss for styling. Tailwindcss offers includes sensible defaults and was quick to spin up. It doesn't hurt that I get to learn Tailwindcss and its paradigm for CSS while designing my website.
